games then that would have meant that they were better basketball teams. They aren't. 40% of the teams in the ACC are just bad. Another 30% are mediocre. Then there are 5 teams which are pretty good, but not very good. There is only one Top 25 level team. The ACC is bad this year. It just is.

And guess what? If VT had won 2 more OOC games (or just beat hideously bad NCSU and BC teams) then you would have never posted what you did. Because we would be solidly in. But VT didn't because VT played some bad basketball in December and January. Right about the time that teams figured out we couldn't handle pressure.

VT made its own bed this year, and if the ACC teams you want everyone to root for had been any better we would have lost even more games than we did.
